A message from Uncle Jim: "We call it a "Cabin" because it is rustic with barn boards on the walls and we chose rustic used brick for the fireplace. I, Jim, pretty much built it by myself over the span of several years. It's not truly a cabin in that it has four bedrooms, three full baths, and 2800 square feet of living space!"
Nestled in the Spruce trees at the end of a quiet road, Uncle Jims Cabin is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom vacation rental located in Pacific City, Oregon. This home features a comfortable fully stocked kitchen, dining room that seats eight, and a living room with a rustic brick wood-burning fireplace on the main floor. A large deck out front is perfect for barbequing, or head out to the north-facing porch and enjoy the ocean view of Cape Lookout!
The basement of this home features a TV and pool table, two comfy sofas, a wood stove, and four adult mountain bicycles. Uncle Jim's Cabin has four bedrooms, the first bedroom is located on the main floor with two twin beds. The second bedroom downstairs features a queen bed and a full bathroom. There are two more bedrooms on the third floor. The master bedroom features a king bed, ocean view, and a private balcony. The last bedroom has a twin bed and a twin bunk bed. There is a full-size bath on the third floor as well. Uncle Jim's Cabin is about 1/4 mile north of Cape Kiwanda and public beach access. The beach access is about a 10 walk.

King Tides Winter Storm Christmas Trip

This property was the perfect spot for our family. We all had bedrooms and enjoyed the upstairs and downstairs family areas. Parking was easy for 3 cars and a 4th would have worked as well. We were there during a significant storm of freezing weather, electrical outage, heavy rain, high winds, and flooding. The wood stove and old heating units in each room worked like warriors. We were glad that we were on "hilltop" and not in danger of flooding but it was unnerving when the neighbor's tree fell on his house. (There may be some trees that need to be evaluated at Uncle Jim's cabin that worried us.) We had dogs and they were very comfortable in house and the floors were perfect. We had to call management 3 times and they were quick to help even during the holiday and stormy weather. Note: the key lock box is not as described in the check-in literature. Thanks for the digs!

Lovely "cabin" home! I think the REAL fireplace was the #1 hit with our family. All you ever see anymore are electric or gas, and NOTHING can compare to the sound, aroma, ambiance and heat of a real fireplace. We also liked that there were 3 bathrooms and 4 generous bedrooms! We used the awesome gas grill on the deck. I will definitely be coming back to this place for a visit again! This home offered something for everyone in our family.... comfy beds, games, well put together kitchen...just everything! 🙂

We had a spectacular time in this magical cabin in the Oregon woods. The location is perfect - and close to major activities like fishing and horseback riding. The pool table was also an amazing addition - we had lots of great conversations there!

What a gem! Our family of 9 had the best time at Uncle Jim's cabin. A quick walk to the beach that even our 7 year old could easily do, and the perfect central location to the coast! The cabin was so cozy and perfect for our big family. The beds were comfy and we slept so good! Everything was 100% perfect!!

Cabin Escape

A quaint cabin atop a hill overlooking the ocean. You can get a view of the beach from the 3rd floor balcony (master bedroom) The cabin itself is surrounded by earth, and neighbors are sparse and keep to themselves. Beautiful view, extremely close to town, and incredible proximity to everything needed for a getaway. Check in was painless as was checkout All towels, linens, and blankets were clean, and the pool table was even racked and setup. This was for a trip for my girlfriend and myself. It entirely fit the bill for a cabin escape. Little to no cell coverage, ocean breeze, and croaking frogs at night.

Quiet, cozy getaway

Check-in at the hotel in town (just a few minutes away) was quick and easy. The cabin itself was as described, vintage and quaint. With all of the trees on the property it is a little darker inside than the pictures suggest, but it just makes one want to start a fire and get cozy. The cabin was clean, and the four rooms easily accommodated the eight adults we had there. It was a nice stay for a great price.
