This modern and sophisticated Shorepine Village home is the ideal retreat for couples looking to escape to the beach. Tile and hardwood floors throughout, sleek leather furnishings, original art, and a cozy gas fireplace. Stainless appliances including a new gas downdraft range, granite and tile countertops, good quality cookware and knife set, and a full set of barware are excellent for entertaining. Both bedrooms are upstairs, a King bed in the back bedroom and a Queen bed in the front bedroom, with a bathroom off the hall in between.
Start your day with a bike ride through the 2+ miles of paved trails that surround Shorepine Village. Take an afternoon paddle on the nearby Nestucca River with the two provided kayaks. Finish the evening off by using the beach wagon to bring your drinks, snacks, and firewood to the beach and enjoy a bonfire under the stars. Great place to stay In Pacific City

Perfect location with access to the beach and a quick walk to a coffee shop, grocery store and pub . The first floor is very well laid out, comfortable beds, and a powder room on the first floor. The deck in the back yard is super - feels private and looks out on the beautiful landscaping. Great beach rental all around!!

Perfect Getaway!

Everything is just perfect here. We really enjoyed the bikes and other toys. The cart to roll tour goodies to to the beach was a lifesaver! Love the large oversized shower head and super comfy beads!

Terrific seaside house

We stayed here for a weekend last summer, and enjoyed our time in Pacific city. This house is ideally located a 5 minute walk to the dune, but our favorite part is the back deck. It’s surrounded my grasses and trees, which gives it a private and serene feeling. We look forward to returning next year 🙂

I have enjoyed staying at Haystack Haven on more than one occasion! The photos here are accurate and the list of amenities is spot on but the rainforest shower head really seems worth mentioning;-) Loved spending time in the kitchen which has more than you'll need to make a gourmet meal. Gas range is always a plus! The back deck is a great place to shuck oysters, crack crab and enjoy a beverage. I also enjoyed the visits from the local deer. Very comfortable beds too after a day of playing on the beach! I hope to get back there again sometime.

Perfect home for a quick getaway

My husband and I and our two dogs needed a quick getaway from the 100 plus temps! We couldn’t have asked for a better home. The house was immaculate - clean, well equipped, comfortable beds and nice linens. My husband had a short trip to his favorite surf break and I enjoyed the peaceful fenced in back yard with my fur babies. Thanks Open Nest for making our stay wonderful.

The location was great too - we loved walking our dog on the trails and to the beach, and it was easy to go grab food at nearby restaurants. We also cooked lots of meals in the well stocked kitchen. We would love to stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Pacific City.
