Directly out the back door of this home, you can walk down the paved trail to the dune ramp where you have access to miles of sandy Oregon Coast beach. Come see what adventures await you at Getaway!
This stylish and spacious two-bedroom home is ideal for family gatherings or even just a quick escape to the beautiful town of Pacific City. The cozy two-sided gas fireplace is the perfect place to relax, play board games, or feast on a delicious meal. A fully outfitted kitchen ensures that you have all that you need, or order food to go from one of the many nearby restaurants. Head out the door and walk to your private beach access, unique to Shorepine Village. This section of the beach is quieter than the public beach access at Cape Kiwanda. The private detached garage is a perfect place for storing surf gear or use the provided bikes to ride the paved walking and biking trails in Shorepine Village.

Spring Break trip

Took a quick trip for Spring Break with the kids. House was great! Comfortable for the 5 of us. We couldn’t get the fireplace to work so that was a bummer but overall, property was great. Short walk to the beach. We would stay here again.

Excellent house by the beach

Property was as described, clean, and perfect for us. Not mentioned in the listing, there are some sand toys in the garage. The only negative is the master bedroom faces the main road, so there was some road noise, but not terrible. The second bedroom faces the other direction and is very quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay!

The house was great, and very clean. All instructions were easy, and everything worked. We like to cook, so there were some things we were missing in the kitchen, but for most it would be just great. The only deficit: In the smaller bedroom with the bunk beds, there was no night side table, and no reading lamp. Definitely need those! Otherwise, all good!

Great Stay at Pacific City Getaway

Wonderful weekend at the Getaway. First time in Pacific City and we loved it. The house was perfect for our family of four and still had room for 2 more. Our Boys loved the bunkbed with queen room and enjoyed playing games and watching a movie. The bathrooms were very clean, like the rest of the house which is in excellent condition. The washer ab dx dryer got used each day after venturing out to climb the sand dune hill or fly the kites. Having the 4 bikes that were in good condition and easy to ride was nice. The kitchen was stocked with all that is needed. We ate in all three nights and had all the cookware we required. Overall a great stay and we will definitely return to the Getaway next time we go to Pacific City

The house is wonderfully appointed (full kitchen, lots of towels, coaster bikes, etc.) and nicely decorated. Very comfortable. Great for 2 couples or a big family. The only drawback is that the climb from the end of the walkway down and back up the dune would be difficult for anyone with a physical limitation. Pacific City is a lovely destination on the Oregon Coast! ÂÂ

Great Beach House For, Great Value

We found our house very clean and tidy! There were a few things I'd change: add a couple of mixing bowls to the kitchen, fix the blinds on the door that leads to the little yard, and we did run low on hot water after two back-to-back showers, BUT I felt that this place was a wonderful value and kept up nicely. No bugs, no odors, no mold, etc. Lovely light in the upstairs bedroom and our young kids loved the bunk beds! Also a great fireplace. (Families - bring kids cups/spoons etc. as all the glasses are breakable and the silverware is very large!) Best of all, the management was VERY responsive and had someone over (Travis, thanks!) to fix the dishwasher about ten minutes after I called. Travis also went out and got a box fan for us on request, again superbly quickly. Kudos to a well-run place!
