Step out the door and grab your board, the surf is calling! Literally steps away from Cape Kiwanda, Surf Vista is your hangout spot for your next trip to Pacific City. The owners are surfers and have decorated their beach home into the most comfortable retreat imaginable. Sip your coffee on the oceanfront deck while you consider how best to spend your day - hiking, beachcombing or surfing!
Unload into the large family room on the main floor. With plenty of space and a large TV, this room is the perfect hang-out for the kids or to watch the game. The Bunkroom (Queen bed and bunk bed), a Queen bedroom, full bathroom, and laundry are all on this floor. Upstairs is the main living area with a large light and bright great room. Two living room seating areas (Large TV in one, watch the ocean in the other), a dining area that seats 8 (extra chairs available), and a full modern kitchen with a bar. Step out onto the deck to cook some burgers on the propane grill and watch the sun drop behind the iconic Haystack Rock. King bedroom and Queen bedroom with a full bath that includes a soaking tub and shower are conveniently located on this floor.
Parking for 4 cars in the driveway; garage is a locked owner space.

The house is in a great location - steps from the Pelican and Headland’s. Pictures of home are accurate. Kitchen has everything you need if you plan to prepare your own meals. Beds and pillows were comfortable. I took a star off of cleanliness because the chairs (velvet) needed cleaning, inside windows were covered in hand prints (I washed the windows - problem solved), and the extra blankets in the bedroom were not clean. The location, layout of the house, and all the other elements of the house made up for a few minor cleaning issues. It’s a nicely updated house with incredible views and location. Would stay again.

What an awesome home! Came for a girls week to celebrate my retirement. The home was beautiful! The weather was gorgeous! Just a few steps from the beach- the dune- the cape and lots of things to do. Well stocked kitchen and lots of towels. Comfy beds and couches. Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach home! I will definitely be back!

Open Nest Vacation Rentals was amazing to work with. A quick call to ask questions, check on something, or express a need and all was taken care of swiftly. Very pleasant people to work with. We loved our home. Beautifully decorated with many touches of the family that owns it. It made it feel like home. Super clean. The lay-out of the home was perfect for our family. We decided that this "is the home" and we will be back next year. Thank you for a lovely family vacation where we made lots of memories.

Location was stunning, the house was truly on the bach with Haystack Rock basically in the backyard. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and it was super kid friendly. Pelican Pub was basically next door and it was close to lots of nice walking trails. Super happy with our stay!
