Casa Del Mar is an incredibly unique oceanfront beach home in the quaint and quiet community of Tierra Del Mar 2 miles north of Pacific City, Oregon! Shaped like a boat hull, and featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, this home perfectly showcases the beautiful views and sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Tierra Del Mar provides a unique view of iconic landmarks such as Haystack Rock and Cape Kiwanda. This 2-mile stretch of sandy beaches is much quieter than the more populated beaches in town. A beachcomber's delight, Tierra Del Mar is a treasure trove of agates and driftwood.
The floor plan at Casa Del Mar is optimized for views of the ocean. You will access the home by going up one flight of stairs to the main living floor. Upon entering you'll find a guest bedroom to your right and a guest bathroom to your left. The home's living room is complete with a sleeper sofa, gas fireplace, and a dining room. Up a flight of stairs, the top floor houses the master bedroom and bathroom.
Outside, the 2nd-floor balcony includes patio chairs and a gas grill, or you can head down to the stone patio complete with a fire pit. The garage houses the ping pong table and beach cruiser bikes ready for you to enjoy! Tucked away on the north side of the yard you will find private beach access. We had the true pleasure of spending a week at Casa Del Mar in Tierra Del Mar (Pacific City) Oregon. The house was perfect; cozy, comfortable pet friendly and location, location, location! The boat hull style of the homes was so unique. The house was clean, had all of the kitchen "stuff" we needed, nicely decorated by the owners, washer dryer and views, views, views. The only minor suggestion we had is to leave the garbage and recycling bins at the mouth of the driveway, where they are emptied early Monday mornings. We totally forgot (old dogs, new tricks) and it is only a few steps from where they are. In a nutshell, we LOVED it, will be back and will DEFINITELY use Open Nest again!

Oceans view and beach access could not be better. Interior slightly dated, but extremely comfortable. House and kitchen well stocked. Firepit and ping-pong in garage are great options. Amazing location and will definitely return, definitely a special place.

Best Little Nest in Pacific City!!

This location is amazing with your own beach access. Beautiful view of the ocean from both floors and the deck. The house is equipped with everything you can possibly need. The fire pit out back is perfect for warming up during the windy nights and of course making s’mores for the kiddos, dog friendly is the icing on the cake. I can’t wait to go back!

This is my third time staying here at this same house. It is a nice home right on the beach. We build sand castles with the grandkids. Had great family dinner. We loved that it was more private than the Lincoln city houses we’ve rented. The deck view is spectacular and the fire pit very nice. I loved the bathrooms, great tall showers (we are a very tall family). The beach access was a beautiful path and wild roses around the fire pit. The house is well stocked, even a spice rack. It could use a few more casserole type dishes and big plastic bowls for baking. We did a ping pong tournament in the garage which was fun. Overall I highly recommend and I hope to come back some day. I wanted to reach out to leave a review for my recent stay at the beach house on Irish. My mother and I stayed at the beach house for her most recent birthday and everything, from the house to the views, was perfect! We were able to take an ambitious walk up the beach towards Haystack Rock, where you'll find lots of sand dollars and sea rocks on the shore. We took so many pictures I ran out of room on my phone! Beds were comfy and the house stayed warm with the heaters. There's even a working telescope you can use to check out the stars. Speaking of stars, this is a GREAT place for star gazing and to see the Space X satellites rapidly crossing the skies. We thought they were spaceships at first - it was unlike anything we've ever seen. Highly recommend staying at the Irish house for a weekend or even longer. Thanks for your hospitality!

My family of 6 and my toddler had such a great time in this home! We especially loved playing on the secluded beach every morning and enjoying good food & drinks at the Pelican. This location is a short drive to several other beaches. We made so many wonderful memories here! I would highly recommend!
